Heritage Certificate - 03/02/07

If you're desperate enough to find out about your vehicles past, you can contact the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust (http://www.heritage-motor-centre.co.uk/sectionpages/archive_index.html) and ask them to search their archives for information on the how your car left the factory.

Obviously I was sad enough to do this and it turns out that:

Colour - Pearl White (knew that already)
Trim - Red
(didn't know that)
Hood - Black (didn't know that)
Built - 20 July 1954
(didn't know that)
RHD - produced for home market
Registration - LVA 751 - issued in Lanarkshire

So that's a good thing then, except I now need to completely replace/recover all the trim as it's currently black & get rid of the hood that came with the car which is white.

However, a white car with red interiour - gonna look great one day! Seems about the right time to start the project now (seeing as it's been in the garage for almost 6 months)!
