80% Fiberglass - 18/11/2006

Had a few hours spare today so figured I'd take some of the metal off the complete shell in prepartion for the new body tub. Turned out that most of the rear wheel arch was held together with mountains of fiber.

It doesn't overly concern me as I'm not touching the front of the car for another couple of years & I guess it could be the same or even worse! I've had a prod around and it appears to be solid, but there again, I didn't know the back end was fiber, I just thought it was rotten! Dunno which one is worse.

The rear inner wheel arch has fiber 1" think in places!
