Found a new body tub 4/11/06

After a month or so of searching and covering several hundred miles, I've found myself another solid body tub. Unfortunately, it's a complete car. The whole tub is in better nick then mine, so I could use the whole lot, but it is from a later year so it's impossible to use the whole tub as it's important to retain originality.

As the TR2 evolved, only the front end changed (along with the sills) so it's alright to use a rear end from a later car. There are changes to the floor, but the tub I'm using as the early style floor/rear section and in view of this I'm cutting the tub in 2. As the TR2 has a seperate chassis which retains it's strength and ridgidity it's perfectly acceptable to weld a new rear end to the existing tub without making the whole car unsafe.

Just don't actually know quite how I'm going to do it yet!
